February SATS

SATS is held the first Saturday of every month, but for February, a Black History Month event is being held at First Baptist Church on the first Saturday. So instead of holding a rival SATS gathering, we are encouraging everyone to attend the Black History Month festivities. So please come to FBC at 7pm on Saturday, February 7th.

Blanket Drive

Please call me at 250-649-0771 if you have extra blankets, sleeping bags or pillows that I can drop off at shelters in Prince George.

There are hundreds of people in Prince George who have no home, and many who may have some kind of shelter, but not enough warmth.

I will be designating one day a week that I can be home to receive donations, or go out to pick them up if you are unable to bring them to me.

The following shelters and organizations will be receiving your donations:

St. Vincent De Paul Society
AWAC (Advocates for Women and Children)
ASAP (Active Support Against Poverty)
Elizabeth Fry Society
Pheonix Transition Society
Native Friendship Housing Society
